I was there on Thursday. They are going to do a new water show in the lake/beach/pier area and so right now there’s no water in it. They updated the huge ferris wheel with a new picture of Mickey on it. They are building a new show where that one pavilion used to be and depending on how long it’s been since you’ve been there, the new Toy Story ride is awesome! Those are just a few things I noticed walking around.

They are doing a major remodel of California Adventure.

The current major items in progress are Carsland, a new area with new attractions. The Little Mermaid Dark Ride that is taking over the Golden Dreams theater. The installation of the World of Color Show in the Bay lake.

The link below is a very good site to follow what is going on. It includes not only a description of the changes, but the current status of that particular project.

    1) They have put a “classic” mickey face on the Sunwheel
    2) They are creating a Cars Land
    3) Toy Story Midway Mania opened about a year ago
    4) in the spring, they will have a water/fireworks show called “The Wonderful World of Color,” which will be similar to Fantasmic!
    5) A “Little Mermaid” ride will open in a year or so
    6) The entrance to the park will be different (I’m not really sure how, though)
    7) Silly Symphony swings in the Giant Orange

My personal suggestion is to open an In ‘N Out Burger in the park, similar to how they used to have McDonald’s food–it’s so Californian and would be so tasty!
