This was so much fun to watch. I do remember the video chat, back in 1984,and thinking,”that will never happen.” LOL!

Oh man, thanks for reminding me of when it used to be worth going to Florida, before they raped the place and made it a commercial for cartoons.

I’m going there next month, I haven’t been there in five years, so it’s gonna be kinda different knowing that the good stuff isn’t there anymore.

Also I did see the Food rocks show in year of 1993 and it was so good,Im taking my 5 year old daughter there next year and she would have loved that show!
i guess you can look at it two ways, people who have never been to epcot appreciate the new attractions more than people who have visited since they were little and was lucky enough to have seen the classic attractions that have now gone! Epcot will always remain the best place on earth for me,no matter what they do! Peace XXXXX

im not sure if anyone else agrees with me on this,But Epcot is more of a educational park with attraction that are meant to inspire & edcucate…i simly loved Horizons, and the living seas these were both Epcot classics that they have removed and updated,i just wish they would have kept the two there because disney have plenty of thrill rides in other parks and Epcot is for people who enjoy inspirational rides and pure classics!

epcots a park of the future so its supposed to change with the new technologey. But it would be nice to bring back the dreamfinder

I would rather be inspired than jostled around for a few minutes.

In most cases, I agree. I do miss Horizons and Living Seas, though. You can’t beat those two originals!

but do you remember how there were two kids talking on video chat in the ending of SSE? do you know what that is? that is now skype today…the technology changed, so it was pointless having that in there and saying this is our future when we already have it today.

wow, it was nice….but when you think about the true essence of EPCOT, it’s a good thing that it changed. as a Cast Member there, i know that it’s supposed to change because of the changing technologies. really, would you rather go on world of motion, a slow moving ride, or test-track, and intense ride. horizons vs. mission:space, soarin’ vs. food rocks…just my opinion.

Oh how I miss the wonder’s of life pavillion. I never had the chance to go in there because where they put the dome at. Just think about it. Between trees at the courner of EPCOT. And I like journey into Imagination with figment more than dreamfinder and Living with the see’s with nemo is better. I also miss Disney food Rocks. I never had the chance to see that to.

WOW perfect – EPCOT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE

30. Jan, 2010
I agree. the rides the way I remember them from the 80’s and early 90s were SO much better than they are now. They INSIST on putting in the cutesy characters from the movies into the pavilions and rides where they don’t belong. It was always “the Living Seas” not with “Nemo and Friends.” that ruined it. Just like Iago ruined the Tiki Birds in the Magic Kingdom.

That’s the Universe of Energy, one of Epcot’s hidden jewels.

EPCOT litterally closed down every original ride they had… but I am more upset about the first Journey Into Imagination closing, but EPCOT is still a fun place to go to =-D
(Still upset about Figment)

Thats the real epcot. I like how you added the epcot fountain. I heard it might be listed on the map. that is the real epcot as of year 200 it turned into 6 flags at epcot center lol. Epcot is still my favorite park. They have to stop changing the classic rides and open up a new section and add horizons again. I was realey little the last time I walked out of horizons but didnt they put stuff from horizons into spaceship earth.

Ahhh… I can smell the “oranges” from Horizon’s as we speak.
