Is it possible to go to Magic Kingdown, Hollywood studios and Epcot all in one day? We would only do a few rides/shows in each, but is it possible? How close are all 3 to each other?

Take your family on a virtual trip around the world. This book is more than a what to see and where to stay touring plan; it is the guide book that will bring the exhibits to life for you and your children. Take your family on a trip to Norway to see the Viking ship, but first study Viking history. Did you know that the Norwegian king was given the Gospel on a trip to England, which led to the end of the Viking era. But, what would the worlds greatest shipbuilders and sailors do for a living if they weren’t Vikings? They used their skills to build churches, some of which are still standing today. An example of a Stave church can be seen in the Norwegian pavilion. Take your family on a trip to Mexico and shop for your favorite pinata in the marketplace, but first study the history of this game. Spanish missionaries arrived to find the Mayans playing a game that they then used to help illustrate Biblical truths. Did you know? Try it! Get into hands on activities while making pretzels together (recipe included), while you study German foods, then try even more authentic recipes at the Biergarten. Moms: Use this book of unit studies to impress dad. It was researched and written by a Christian home schooling family and would be a great asset to any curriculum, with or without a visit to Epcot (although that would be a world class field trip to top off the school year). Dads: Buy this book for yourself and read it before you go. Impress your family with your expertise in every pavilion! Then, you can pass the book on to the kids when you get home from your vacation, so they can do the hundreds of activities in this guide book, and learn even more. Not only will they learn more, the vacation experience will be extended throughout the year, as you say, remember when we saw this?… let’s learn more about that. >>Read More

Sure you could so long as you bought a park-hopper as an add on to your tickets which allows you to visit more than one park in a single day.

Allow 30-45 minutes for travel between each park. Epcot and the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) are connected by monorail, and the Magic Kingdom is connected by a separate monorail that also stops at the TTC. To get between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, you can walk, take a boat, or catch a bus.

See the underlined rides on this page for a version of don’t miss rides and attractions at each park!!: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/basic-itinerary/comprehensive-guide-to-rides/

    Have a great trip!

Wow! Very ambitious! In my experience, you might as well account for at the bare minimum, 30 minutes to transfer between parks. One hour is more likely, especially if you are using Disney’s transport. You might be able to move more quickly if using your own car. But it takes always takes more time than you think that it will.

I really wouldn’t try this, personally. Like you said, you will only have time to do a VERY few things in each park. Epcot is absolutely huge just to walk around. If you went in and just rode say, Mission: Space, Soarin, and Test Track which are the 3 biggest rides there, they are very close together. But the wait time is huge. And you may not be able to take advantage of Fastpass to skip the line later, because you may be going to another park later. So you could probably expect to spend at least an hour for each of those attractions. That’s 3 hours of your day, plus an hour for transfer. See what I mean? And that’s being conservative on time estimates.

If you insist on trying more than one park, I would recommend dropping Epcot simply because of its size. Start out at Magic Kingdom WHEN IT OPENS and hit the big rides right away. Switch to Hollywood Studios at lunch or slightly after. Check the opening/closing times on Disney’s website. Studios is sometimes open later because of showing Fantasmic. If it is closing early, go there first instead and finish at Magic Kingdom. Be prepared to rush, rush, rush!

Infortunately not, I was there for 3 days and still coudln’t fit it all in. I mean, anything is possible, you can maybe make it to all 3 parks. But as far as getting to them all and doing rides in each one, whether it be just a few, there is not time for all of it.

I think it’s very rush. You may need to queue up in long lines just to take a few popular rides/shows especially during summer. Perhaps buying the Express queue tickets can save more time.

I was there last summer, and I visited only two parks in a day – first day was Animal Kingdom and Epcot; second day was Hollywood studios and Magical Kingdom (don’t miss the fireworks), and we missed some popular rides due to lack of time. All parks can be reached by Disney buses taken from Disney terminal, quite close to one another. If you have only a day, no choice, go Epcot, followed by Hollywood Studios as they will have parade march in the afternoon, then finally to Magical Kingdom and catch the awesome firework.

Since a one-day park hopper, which is necessary to do more than one park in a day, costs over $100 it wouldn’t be cost effective to do. Plus you need to give yourself an hour to get from park to park (Walt Disney World is twice the size of Manhattan), so you’ve now wasted 2 hours of your day. I’d bet you only see one or maybe two things at each park.

I think you would be exhausted if you tried to do all that in one day! I would not attempt more than 2 parks in one day.

Yes, you can visit all 3 parks in one day, but if you have never been to one or thee other you will miss-out on a lot of attractions and shows as you will run out of time.

Of course, but you will miss a lot and be exhausted at the end of it.

Yes, if you want to create stress, long lines, and exaustion. They are far away from each other and you will wait in lines all day. The only way to avoid the lines is to go very early in the morning or very late at night, and you can’t do all four at those times. Although I strongly discourage it, I would advise you to go in this order:

    Magic Kingdom 9:00-12:00
    EPCOT 12:30-2:00
    Animal Kingdom 2:30-5:00
    Hollywood Studios 5:30-10:00

Hope you have fun, though Disney is soooooooooooooo much better if you space it out!

Of course, you just need the park-hopper pass. It is a great thing, you can just go to one park to eat and another to ride the attractions.

No way… my mom took my nephews to disney and she told me you cant even see 1 whole park in 1 day… and the lines are LONG.. then you have to travel to the other parks too, so no….

I am going to be blunt and say NO!

There is honestly so much to do, and it is soooo spread out that you really can’t do those park that quickly.

If you are looking to have a nice enjoyable day, just pick a park, and do that one for an entire day, and you will see that it will be a much more enjoyable experience!
