For 2 – 5 Players, Ages 6 and Up.Disney has always been masterful at two key initiatives: producing memorable children’s entertainment and marketing that same entertainment with overwhelming force. In this promotional board game, players attempt to move a family around a Disney theme park, stopping at various points along the way including Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Frontierland, and the Country Bears. Mickey, Donald, Peter Pan, Snow White, the Lion King characters, and various other familiar characters make appearances. As a game, it may deepen a child’s love for their Disney brand friends or simply reinforce the feelings that child already has. The game is also a bit complex and may be too tricky for younger children although if they play on a team with older kids or adults, they should be fine. Parents considering this game should be prepared to answer the question “when can we go to a REAL Disney park?” –Charlie Williams >>Read More

View larger. Donald and Goofy will lead you to spectacular adventures. View larger. You’ll meet and get advice from many familiar faces. View larger. The Prologue The story begins with Sora, Donald and Goofy wandering through endless fields. Eventually, they come to a crossroad. Standing in the crossroads, Sora gazes up at the night sky and thinks of his lost friends. From the distance, a mysterious man approaches from one of the roads. “Ahead lies something you need,” he says, “but to claim it you must lose something dear.” The man vanishes, revealing a single path that leads to the eery Castle Oblivion, which resembles a girl’s drawing. The Story After this encounter, Sora, Donald, and Goofy go their separate ways. Soon, on a night when his island home is besieged by a mysterious storm, Sora is whisked away to an unfamiliar burg known as Traverse Town. There he meets Donald and Goofy, and learns that there are strange things happening in the world. Donald and Goofy set off to look for their missing king, and Sora joins them to search for his lost friend, Riku. After a long journey that takes them across numerous worlds, Sora and friends finally find Riku and the lost king. But to save all the worlds, Sora must use his Keyblade to close the door to darkness, even though Riku and the king are on the other side. Believing the king’s parting words — there will always be a door to the light — Sora locks the door, and the trio sets out on yet another journey. The Characters The cast of Chain of Memories combines Kingdom Hearts characters with familiar Disney faces. Sora, is a 14-year-old boy and the hero of this tale. Although a little naive, Sora has an uncommon sense of justice. On his journey, Sora is accompanied by Donald, a court wizard who shares a striking resemblance to Donald the Duck of Disney fame, and the clumsy, easy-going captain of the Disney Castle Royal Knights, Goofy. Other characters include the mysterious, shrouded man from the crossroads; Sora’s lost friend, Riku, a 15-year-old boy who is cool and collected; the lost King, who bares a striking resemblance to Mickey Mouse; and Kairi, a 14-year-old girl who’s friends with Sora and Riku. Almost more strange than the man at the crossroads, a mysterious girl, Namine, draws pictures inside Castle Oblivion under close surveillance of an evil organization. As the story alludes, she may hold the key to Sora’s most special memories. >>Read More

most babies cant really ride rides…but if u really want him to ride the rides too…the only ones that i can think are super family friendly are the ones in fantasyland…those are pretty much made for families…but yea…i’d just ask the people there…they should have some type of sign posted saying who can and cant ride and how tall or how old u should be…have fun!

We took our son when he was 9 months old and I don’t feel like we missed out on anything. Off the top of my head we went on Pirate of the Caribbean, Snow White, Peter Pan, It’s a Small World, The Carousel, Haunted Mansion, the Animal Safari boat ride, The Wed Way People Mover. There are a ton of rides you all can go on together, as long as you can hold your son on your lap, you can take him on. Obviously no rides where you need to be strapped in for though. And if you had a calm baby like I did, he may even love the fireworks at night. Have fun, you won’t miss out on anything! Consider getting a baby sling, baby Bjorn, something like that so you can carry him most of the time, then it’s easier then frequently moving him in and out of the stroller.

We took my daughter to Disney when she was 8 months. Do bring a stroller – don’t plan on renting one. Keep in mind that if you’re baby is experiencing separation anxiety or stranger anxiety – he/she might be uneasy with costumed characters. We chose 3 character’s to have her picture made with (Tigger, Mickey & Minnie). That way we did get a few pics that she smiled for, but didn’t overwhelm her with strange looking characters.
For rides & other stuff – Here’s a list of rides & some other stuff you can see with a 9 month old.
Fantasy Land -Peter Pan, Snow White, Winnie The Pooh, & Small World.
Tomorrow Land -Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (I just let my husband play as we rode through).
Adventureland- Enchanted Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates League, Swiss FamilyTreehouse
Frontierland – Country Bear Jamboree
Liberty Square – Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion (my baby wasn’t scared)

He can ride anything you ride EXCEPT I wouldn’t take him on any of the coasters! Pretty much any ride that has the warning sign out front advising against riding if you’re pregnant, have a heart condition, bad back, etc. is probably too rough for the little guy, but there are dozens of rides he can take along with you!
Have a great trip!

the small kids cant really ride the rides, and thats quite on the young side. go into fantasyland and thats your best bet but its extremely crowded there the first time. the kid would have more fun going into animal kingdpm and looking at animals or doing things of the observing nature…not so much riding rides.

You’re parents now. Take a break from this for a few years!
Wait until your son and any other children you’ll have are old enough to know what’s going on, be able to stay awake, be able to go on a lot of the rides and shows, be able to walk around on their own (even if you do use Disney strollers)…youngest about ~5…out of diapers. Kids that young will just get cranky, if they don’t sleep through everything. If the baby can stay awake, he will be scared of the dark rides, cry in the theaters and disturb the others.
Mickey’s Very Merry is a night-time thing, babies should be in bed!
Umm…You have been there “every year”; don’t you already know all the rides?
